Wendy has served as an HIV/AIDS/STI Laboratory Advisor for CAREC/PAHO/WHO and has focused extensively on advocating for national medical laboratory policies, legislation, and quality improvements in CARICOM countries, particularly in the OECS region.

She has dedicated her career to promoting good laboratory practices and has actively participated in reviewing regulations and legislation related to blood banks. Currently, she works as a specialist in Diabetes and Hemoglobin with 9 years of experience at QLS Panama.

Dr. Lundie Richards is a Consultant Medical Haematologist-Oncologist at the Cayman Islands Health Services Authority (HSA), where he has been a key member of the Internal Medicine, Pathology Laboratory, and Haematology-Oncology teams since 2019. With a distinguished career in healthcare leadership, he has held high-level positions in Canada and Jamaica, including roles as Director of the National Blood Bank and National Laboratory Service. He has also worked as a consultant for the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) in blood bank development. Dr. Richards earned his medical degree with First Class Honours in Cuba, completed his Doctor of Medicine in Clinical Haematology & Oncology in Jamaica, and pursued postgraduate studies in the UK and Canada, holding multiple master's degrees in public health, transfusion sciences, and health management.
